Children and grown men alike are shedding tears as Christmas is looking just a little dimmer this year.
Videogaming247.com reported today that according to Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce, StarCraft II will not be releasing in 2008.
"This year? Like, 2008? Too much work to do, we don't have a specific release date in mind yet. We still have too much work to do," says Pearce.
So much for holding on to that last shred of hope. In any case, the news doesn't come as a huge surprise to RTS fans awaiting this epic title, it just means we'll have to continue to be patient and enjoy the slew of other awesome games set to release this year.
